So far today in the opening seminar lead by OCTE and its supporters: The Ministery (Catherine Montreuil),Defasco, CWAF, AOLS, there was stress over the up and coming void of skilled trades people.  But these are not the skilled trades people of the past, that we are talking about.  We are talking about industry 4.0:

What does this mean for restaurateurs?

What is the extent of 4.0 and IoT.  

Math will be a part of it all.  

Our challenge is to make it relevant now so that our students are prepared for their futures.

Success

What I like about Crenn's description is not with regard to the industry, but with regard to what success is.  "Success is how we feel inside."  Are we working towards a goal; are we developing ourselves with a purpose?
Food is the basis of life.  Scrolls are an ancient mode of communication.  Scrolls, like food are seen as sacred.  To be literate, to be able to afford the utensils to communicate, to have the knowledge to communicate something of worth - this was sacred.......
Success is hidden in the food scrolls.

OYAP

I would like to start my first blog with respect to Domonique Crenn  (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lSLeKbvxcJM).
Next Semester, I will have four OYAP students, three of which will be young ladies.  I hope that this specific blog will be a source of drive for them.  I use the word drive, because they will need to take control and direct their experiences towards their goals; that they will take worth while detours only to get back on track.  The constant redesign and development of their success.
